    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

    Date of announcing final result :20th Oct, 2009
    Release of admission list(Main list & waiting list) :15th Nov, 2009

    Starting of academic session for 2008-09 :16th  Oct, 2009


    APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

    The application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the following certificates.
    1. Statement of marks.
    2. Transfer Certificate.
    3. Migration certificate for only non-Karnataka students.
    4. Domicile certificate / proof of the age certificate.
    5. Medical fitness certificate.
    6. Caste certificate if applicable.

    The candidate will be admitted against the vacant seats available from the list of candidates recommended by the Govt. froom time to time. All such admitted candidates will be in the management quota or payment categories only.



    CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

    The candidates would be admitted according to their percentages at 10+2 level.

    Minimum level of acceptance:

  • The Candidates who have passed two years P.U.C. or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board/University with not less than 40% marks in any combinationcomprising P.C.M. or P.C.B.(minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of P.C.M or P.C.B) or P.C.M.B., P.C and Computer Sciences, P.C.and Electronics.

  • In case of student belonging to SC / ST or Category-I (of Karnataka student only), the minimum percentage of marks for admission to B.Pharm Course shall not less than 35% in the qualifying examination.

  • Candidates who have scored less than 40% marks in (10+2) but who have completed B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects in combination with any two of the following subjects namely Physics or Mathematics or Microbiology or Botany or Zoology or Biotechnology or Computer Sciences or Electronics securing not less than 40% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to first year B.Pharm Course.

  • Candidates who have scored less than 50% marks in (10+2) but who have completed D.Pharm course securing more than 50% marks in aggregate in D.Pharm are eligible to be admitted to B.Pharm course.

  • Age: To have completed 17 years of age as on before 31st December of the admission year.




    DIRECT ADMISSION TO SECOND YEAR B.PHARMACY

    Candidates who have passed D.Pharm course with not less then 50% aggregate approved by Pharmacy Council of India shall also be eligible to this course and shall be admitted directly to II-B.Pharm course provided such students should study Mathematics,Computer Science & Statistics of I-B.Pharm in addition to the II-B.Pharm subjects.
